FBCI Open (Singles Tournament)
We are excited to announce and invite you to participate in the FBCI Open 2025, a competitive single/individual badminton tournament dedicated to raising funds for our church building project. This one-day event will bring together badminton enthusiasts for a great cause!
Tournament Details
📅 Date: April 26, 2025
📍 Location: 3740 S Dearborn Street, Indianapolis, IN 46237
⏰ Check-in: 8:30 AM | Tournament Start: 9:00 AM sharp
💰 Entry Fee: $30 per person (non-refundable, but a full refund will be issued if fewer than 30 participants sign up and the event is canceled)
⚠️ Minimum Participants: The tournament will only be held if at least 30 individuals sign up.
Registration Process
1. Payment: Send the entry fee via Zelle to the provided number. Include “FBCI Open” in the memo.
2. Submit Receipt: Registration is only confirmed once you submit proof of payment.
3. Deadline: April 18, 2025 – No late registrations will be accepted.
Game Format & Rules
• Matches will follow ABCD-Drop-flight format. (see attached link below for details).
• Each game will be played to 21 points, best of three sets.
• Only shuttlecocks sold at the event will be permitted (3 for $10 as part of the fundraiser).
• If your name is called and you are not present, we will wait 10 minutes before forfeiting your match.

• Group A: $300 + Trophy
• Group B: $150 + Trophy
• Group C: $70 + Trophy
• Group D: $50 + Trophy
🥈 Runner-Ups
• Group A: $70 + Trophy
• Group B: $50 + Trophy
• Group C: $30 + Trophy
• Group D: Trophy only
Food & Refreshments
Lunch will not be provided, but food, snacks, and drinks will be available for purchase via cash.

We will confirm and notify the estimated tournament end-time three days before the event.
